Desert Herb
A smoky, herbal, and slightly spicy cocktail that blends the boldness of the Southwest with the mystique of Chartreuse.
Ingredients:
1 oz Mezcal (for a smoky Southwestern base)
0.75 oz Green Chartreuse (herbal complexity)
0.5 oz Lime juice (zesty brightness)
0.5 oz Agave nectar (sweet balance)
1 slice jalapeño (for a gentle kick)
Optional: 1 dash orange bitters
Instructions:
Muddle the jalapeño slice in a shaker (remove seeds for less heat).
Add the mezcal, Chartreuse, lime juice, agave, and bitters.
Fill with ice and shake well.
Strain into a chilled coupe glass or over ice in a rocks glass.
Garnish with a lime wheel and a jalapeño ring or a sprig of cilantro.
